Unit introduction
Welcome to course four as part of the Make Foundation learning journey.
The aim of this course is to provide an overview of the Make user interface, and a few important bits that are worth knowing before you continue your automation journey.
In this unit you will understand what tools are available within My Organization, located on the Make dashboard.
You will not be adding anything else to the scenario covered in the first two courses, but it’s always worth being logged into Make to follow along and try yourself.
My Organization
You’ve briefly covered organization in the last course, however there are many items here that you didn’t explore.
This is what you’re going to do now.
My Organization - Dashboard
The Dashboard provides an overview of your organization’s activity and resources.
At the top, you’ll find key metrics:
- Average daily usage: This section details your average daily usage of credits over the last 14 days.
- Credits left: This shows the remaining credits left until your next usage reset.
- Usage reset in X days: This indicates the date when your credits usage is reset.
- Credits auto-purchasing: Here you can manage and purchase extra credits for your subscription.
The main Usage graph displays your credits and data usage, allowing you to visually track your usage for the month.
Note: Hovering over this area will provide you with a further summary. Give it a try!
Below the usage graph, the Active scenarios section will display any active scenarios saved in your organization.
The bottom section, “Get more out of your scenarios” and “Level up your automations with AI Agents,” provides helpful resources to get you started on your journey with Make.
On the left side, the navigation menu allows you to explore your organization in more detail, accessing various sections like Analytics, Teams, SSO, Org Users, My Plan, Subscription, Payments, Installed apps, Webhooks, Org Variables, Scenario properties, On-prem Agents, Org Audit logs, and more.
My Organization - Analytics
Note: Analytics is not available on a free plan.
Under Analytics you can see your organization’s data in more detail.
This will show you:
- Total operations used
- Number of scenario executions
- Total errors and error rate
My Organization - Teams
You’ll be covering Teams / Users in the next unit of this course.
However, to briefly summarize, you can establish different teams from here as part of your organization.
Here you can see how many credits each team uses.
Note: This is only available on the Teams subscription plan, and may not be relevant for your current use of Make.
My Organization - SSO
Set up and manage Single Sign-On (SSO).
SSO configuration
For information on how to configure SSO, see our Help Center.
- Namespace*
Must be at most 128 characters long.
- SSO type*
Click Save to apply changes.
- Domain verification
My Organization – Org Users
Once you have established your teams, you can invite users from the Org Users page by clicking the + Invite user button. This page displays a list of users, including their name, email, last login, and role within the organization.
My Organization - Subscription
The Subscription page in My Organization provides an overview of your current plan, credit usage, and options to manage your subscription.
The Credits section displays your current usage for the month and the reset date.
Similar to the organization dashboard, this displays your current usage for the month, and the reset date.
In the top-right corner of the page, you’ll find several options to manage your organization’s subscription and settings:
- Organization settings
- + Create scenario
- My Plan
- Add payment method
- Redeem coupon
- Buy extras
My Organization - Subscription 2
My Plan
The My Plan section provides details about your current Make plan. This includes information such as the price, credits per month, unused credits, and your billing interval. You also have the option to cancel your subscription from here.
Add Payment Method
Here, you can add or change your payment method. You can select a new payment method type, such as a Credit/debit card, and choose whether to set it as the default for subscriptions and/or for extras.
Redeem Coupon
You can redeem a coupon by clicking the Redeem coupon button.
Buy Extras
If you run out of credits, you can purchase extra credits by clicking the Buy extras button.
Billing Frequency
You can change the frequency of your billing period between Billed monthly and Billed yearly using the toggle. Choosing Billed yearly can save you 15% or more.
My Organization - Payments
If you’re on a paid plan, your payment history displays here. Any redeemed coupons will appear here as Extra credits under the product header.
Ready for more features? Unlock unlimited scenarios, increased operations, Make API access, and many other exciting features by upgrading to a paid plan. Plans start at just $9 per month.
My Organization – Installed Apps
If you’re the organization admin, you’ll be able to install custom apps here.
By default this will say ‘No apps were installed in this organization’.
Here we show a custom app we made in one of our courses. This is considered an advanced function of Make that will be covered in a later course.
My Organization – Org Variables
Variables within your Organization are stored here.
There are two types of variables – system and custom.
Custom variables are a useful tool that you will cover in a later qualification. Note that these are available on Pro paid plans.
Variables in general allow organizations to store data and then re-use them later.
For example, a custom response message could be set as a variable, and then referenced as many times as needed within any future scenarios.

This concludes the My Organization unit in the Make Foundation learning journey.
By now you should have an understanding of:
- The Organization dashboard in Make.
- How to identify credits and data usage.
- How to find your subscription plan and payments.
Great work! Let’s keep the momentum going, and move to the next unit: Organization / user settings.
